King & Co has been appointed by Heaver Homes to masterplan a new sustainable village at Broadbridge for the Chichester District Plan.
For over 200 years the Heaver family has lived at Broadbridge Farm in Bosham and contributed to the area through various enterprises including Chichester Dairies, Heaver Bricks and as aggregate exporters.
The area has strategic connectivity with excellent rail and road connections making it suitable for a sustainable settlement conceived around a landscape-led approach including over 50 acres of new neighbourhood parks, village greens and a Wetland Park. The 3,000+ homes and employment uses are of sufficient scale to deliver extensive infrastructure on site including village shopping parades, 3 schools and leisure and sporting facilities.
